What to do about Oily Skin

Oils produced by the body help keep skin healthy. But too much of a good thing can leave your face looking oily, which no one wants. Excess oil can also lead to blemishes and acne flare-ups. I have an oily skin too but seeing a cosmetologist saved me from the mess.
If you have an oily skin and you’d like to do something about this condition, here are some good tips for you from her:
Cleanse only two or three times at the very most with a product made for your skin type. Washing more often will only strip the skin of oil which simply stimulates the oil glands to replace it.

Rinse thoroughly and then finish off with a toner/astringent on the oily areas of your skin. The astringent can be used throughout the day to help control the excess oil that clogs your pores from breathing.
To keep your skin healthy and looking great, it’s important to be aware of how your skin varies so that you can adjust your regimen accordingly!
