Soya bean, a reservoir of nutrients

Soya is a species of legume native to East Asia, widely grown for its edible bean, which has numerous uses.

Soya has applications in food, milk, animal food and is the main component of many processed food and supplements such as soy meat, soy flour, soy vita, soy milk, soy oil and confectioneries, etc.

Soy products are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and they contain contain isoflavones, which is considered by dietitians and physicians to be useful in prevention of cancer and diseases.
Soy products has no cholesterol. They are more healthy and nutritious.
Soy products are relatively cheaper with higher protein content than most protein within its category. Soy product qualifies as one of the cheapest form of dietary protein available. They contain rich unsaturated fatty acids and low in saturated fatty acids.

Soy products acts as perfect replacement for meat and dairy products specifically required for the vegans and vegetarians.
Soybeans are very rich in nutritive components.
Besides the very high protein content, soybeans contain a lot of fibre and are rich in calcium, magnesium.
The soy protein has a high biological value and contains all the essential amino acids.
